MTC Memorial Hike

The Marc T. Christine Memorial Hike

Marc T. Christine was known for his kindness, funny jokes, enthusiasm, and leadership.

Marc showed his patriotism for his country by selling his company after 9/11 terrorist attacks  and becoming a Federal Air Marshal, where he served for 14 years.

Marc was an avid supporter of our foundation. He shared his experiences as a Federal Air Marshal, but most importantly he gave us true unbinding friendship.

Sadly, in 2017, Marc’s life ended unexpectedly. We are saddened by his passing and forever changed by his passion for working dogs, support for fellow law enforcement, veterans and his charismatic ways.

This Memorial Hike is to help raise funding for our mission while creating a community of support. A community and mission Marc supported whole-heartedly.

The first memorial hike will take place in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. There will be a limited number of hikers allowed. Each hiker who raises money for our foundation will receive an event t-shirt, a goodie bag, chances to win various prizes, and entry to the after party.

If you are not a hiker, it is okay. Our hike locations are on trails that allow for all ages and abilities. If you choose not to join us, you can fundraise and be entered to win prizes.

We ask that all hikers honor Leave No Trace Principals, and follow all USDA Forest and State Park Laws and Regulations.

Our commitment at Hike for K9 Heroes is to not only raising funding for those our cause supports but to build a community of steadfast support through recreational activities so similar actions like Marc’s are lessened.
A portion of the money raised during the memorial hike will be donated to another nonprofit organization that helps support and serve our cause.

We are currently looking for sponsors, team lead hikers, ambassadors and volunteers.
